SA children participate in vaccine trial

South Africa is one of five countries participating in global vaccine trials for children. About 2,000children, aged between 6 months and 17 years, will take part. They will receive two doses, 28 days apart. The first participant is being vaccinated today. The trial will provide much needed data on how those younger than 17 react to the jab. Co-Chairperson of the Committee Professor Koleka Mlisana says the committee welcomes the trial and is eagerly awaiting results. Courtesy #DStv403
