Momentum reports highest death claims

Momentum Metropolitan received the highest number of death claims this year. The company says this is mainly due to COVID-19. It paid out R10.7-billion in claims. That's compared to an average of R5.6-billion per year over three pre-pandemic years. This saw the company lose 34% in normalised annual earnings. But, there's some good news for the group.
