Senators Agree On New Bill

A Republican from Ohio, Senator Rob Portman, says that “about 18-20 Republicans” will be joining Democrats to pass the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill, calling it “a big bipartisan victory.” The Senate will hold the final vote for the bill Tuesday morning, with the bill expected to receive the 51 votes needed to pass. The bill includes federal funding to invest in American jobs, roads, bridges, and broadband internet access.
