Senate To Pass Infrastructure Bill

The Senate is expected to pass a $1 Trillion-dollar- bipartisan infrastructure bill on Tuesday. The legislation package, which includes $550 billion in new funding for transportation, broadband, and utilities, is expected to fly through with Democratic and Republican votes. After its passage, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., plans to turn to a budget resolution that would allow Democrats to approve what they see as a complementary $3.5 trillion spending plan without Republican votes.
