Femicide rising in South Africa

President Cyril Ramaphosa has condemned the surge in violence against women and children, but femicide remains on the rise. A 41-year-old Umzumbe woman was murdered recently along with her 15-year-old daughter allegedly by the woman's boyfriend. The incident took place in front of the woman's younger children.
