SIU gives update on R431 spent on Gauteng school

A preliminary report by the Special Investigating Unit has recommended disciplinary action against officials involved in the R431 million Gauteng schools sanitising tender. The money was reportedly used to procure cleaning services to disinfect and deep clean schools across the province. It's understood some of the companies aren't even in the cleaning business. In May the SIU was granted an order to freeze their accounts. Courtesy #DStv403
