Burrard colony neighbourhood_12May2016 pt 2

It is from here that I first saw perching birds fly over to the Burrard Bridge, soar up toward the section under which a colony of these cormorants had been breeding since 2000, and turn back just prior to hitting the roadworks safety netting. What began as roosting ledge, became a breeding neighbourhood for displaced Burrard Bridge Colony pelagics .
