Quhwah Books is very pleased to present for publication a historic thought-provoking book of never before published sonnets.
Based in Stoke ,verbal artist, lyric smith and performance poet, and international author Gary Oliver offers his interpretation of the sonnet form in his latest book of verse. Written over twelve years and inspired by Shakespeare the lock down, personal experiences and historic and current events Gary has chosen the sonnet form to express the need for mutual human solace. ``We have all found the need to learn to keep our own company better and only by knowing and loving one’s self can we really love one another ...and it is by taking solace in self we can better take solace in others…) Ins elected verse the reader will find despair and hope, love and hate and elation and frustration-all human emotion are explored as an outlet for tragedy and euphoria. The reading of these poems, Gary hopes, will bring the reader, in difficult times... solace.
Gary is preparing another book to be released the climate change conference in Glasgow this year called 'woodun Indians'
