Standing on the High Water Bridge at Paul Kruger Gate we witness this amazing behaviour from the African Harrier Hawk or also called "Gymnogene".

This is truly a remarkable bird due to its ability to hunt for food mostly live prey while hanging upside down and breaking open small crevasses in tree trunks to reach its food.

The face also changes colour from yellow to red when the bird is mating.

This was an amazing scene to watch but when played in slow motion it's incredible as I did not know it can make this type of display when threatened.
