Johnson & Johnson's COVID-19 Vaccine Approved For Emergency Use In India

India on August 7, granted Johnson & Johnson's (J&J) single-dose vaccine against Covid-19, approval for emergency use in the country. The American pharmaceuticals company had applied to the Central Drug Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) on August 5 seeking approval. With approval for J&J vaccine, the central government has now granted EUA to a total of five Covid-19 vaccines. India has so far administered the Covishield, Covaxin & Sputnik V vaccines.
