In a conversation with the media today, Ritu said that, my father is ill. Due to the deteriorating situation, I had to leave the game and now sell tickets like this to earn money.

राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर ढेरों पुरस्कार पा चुकीं मुक्केबाज रितु का परिवार आर्थिक रूप से तंगहाली में जी रहा है। अपना घर चलाने के लिए रितु चंडीगढ़ में पार्किंग टिकट बेचने को मजबूर हैं। रितु ने आज मीडिया से बातचीत में कहा कि, मेरे पापा बीमार हैं। स्थिति बिगड़ने के चलते मुझे खेल छोड़ना पड़ा और कमाई के लिए अब इस तरह टिकट बेचती हूं।
