How does a person go from being shy and scared of presenting in front of a handful of people, to being confident enough to apply to speak at a WordCamp or WordFest? That is my journey and it wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the amazing WordPress community.
I have been involved with WordCamps and Meetups for a long time, yet I never dared to be a speaker myself. I was terrified of public speaking. The WordPress Diversity team helped me overcome my fear and the imposter syndrome while being very supportive.
