Victoria records 26 new local cases, highest daily figure this year

Victoria has seen its biggest daily jump in COVID cases this year and this evening another has emerged. But still, authorities said today the lockdown is working. All of the 26 new infections are linked to known cases and most were in isolation for their entire infectious period. It's also been confirmed tonight that an employee at Casey Hospital has also tested positive.
