A compilation of scenes animated (or presumed to have been animated) by Japanese animator Kazuhide Tomonaga.
Song: The Chaser, by Sadao Watanabe

Tomonaga was one of the most important artists of the 1970's: it is not exaggerating to say he is one of the fathers of mecha and effects animation as we know them today. Originally from studio Tiger Pro where he started out in 1972, Tomonaga joined major animation studio Oh! Production in 1975 and became the most prized student of animator and animation director Kazuo Komatsubara. Together, they worked on many super robot shows produced by studio Tôei, and Tomonaga became the friend and rival of the other most important animator of his generation, Yoshinori Kanada. In 1979, Tomonaga joined Yasuo Otsuka's studio Telecom, of which he is still a member today. From there, he made many contributions to Japan-US coproductions as well as to the Lupin III franchise.

Many thanks to Nav for the encouragement and Toadette for helping me to choose the song; all my gratitude also goes to the people who uploaded the sequences on this video to sakugabooru, and to Kazuhide Tomonaga himself.
