As the Centre takes control of the vaccination drive from June 21, people above 18 can get free vaccines from vaccination centres, and they are no longer required to register on CoWin app or site. India administered over 84 lakh doses of Covid-19 vaccines on Day 1 of the implementation of 'Revised Guidelines for Covid Vaccination'. Union Minister Jitendra Singh spoke about Covid vaccination drive and its speed of administration. Jitendra Singh further opened up about vaccine hesitancy in the country.
