The world will witness Bajasal dance from Odisha’s Kalahandi region during the 2021 Republic Day parade at Rajpath in New Delhi. An 80-member-troupe of Bajasal dance performers has been selected to perform on the Republic Day parade.
The troupe is managed by Guru Dhyananand Panda, Chintu Prasad Naik, and Debesh Singh. The dance will be presented by the troupe on behalf the Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre (EZCC) under the guidance of Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Defence.
