Dry weather is expected to prevail in almost all districts of Odisha in the next five days.
According to the India Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar, temperature will remain 3-4 degrees Celsius below normal in the interior districts of Odisha and 2-3 degrees below normal in the Coastal districts over next couple of days.
As per the latest update from the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre, as many as six places in the state recorded temperature of 10 degrees Celsius or below. Phulbani was the coldest at 6 degrees Celsius.
The highest maximum temperature of 29.5 degrees Celsius was recorded at Malkangiri. Bhubaneswar recorded a maximum of 28.4 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 14 degrees Celsius.
Other areas with temperatures lower than 10 degrees Celsius were Sundargarh with 8 degrees Celsius, Bhawanipatna at 9 degrees Celsius, Jharsuguda at 9.4 degrees Celsius, Boudh at 9.5 degrees Celsius and Bolangir recorded a temperature of 10 degrees Celsius.
