Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Odisha Crime Branch continues its investigation into the Nayagarh minor girl murder case. Two officials of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) reached Saroj Sethi’s house on Monday to seek more details regarding the case. Saroj Sethi had earlier alleged that he was offered money by Police to take all the blame in the case.
The officials spoke to Sethi’s mother to collect more details regarding the Pari murder case. Earlier on Sunday (December 20), the SIT had arrested one person for his alleged involvement in the sensational abduction and subsequent murder of the minor girl.
As per the SIT, the arrested person is a resident of Jadupur village under Nayagarh district. The investigating team booked the accused under sections 376-A, 376AB, 364, 302, 201 of IPC read with section 6 of POCSO Act. The SIT has said that the arrested accused will be produced before a POCSO court in Nayagarh on Monday.
