চীনবিরোধী নীতিতে পূর্বসূরী ডোনাল্ড ট্রাম্পের পথেই হাঁটছেন মার্কিন প্রেসিডেন্ট জো বাইডেন। এবার ৫৯ চীনা প্রতিষ্ঠানে মার্কিন বিনিয়োগ নিষিদ্ধ করলেন তিনি। এ নিষেধাজ্ঞার ফলে চীনা প্রযুক্তি ও প্রতিরক্ষা সংশ্লিষ্ট প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোর সঙ্গে কোন ধরনের লেনদেন করতে পারবেন না মার্কিন নাগরিকরা। আগামী দোসরা আগস্ট থেকে কার্যকর হতে যাচ্ছে এ আদেশ। এদিকে নিষেধাজ্ঞার পাল্টা জবাব দেয়া হবে বলে হুঁশিয়ারি দিয়েছে বেইজিং।
