Child and care workers commended for their wok

This week is marked as National Child Protection Week. Child and Youth Care Work chairperson, Zenuella Thumbadoo, is commending the work done by child and youth care workers over the lockdown period and beyond. She says they're playing a pivotal role in improving the wellbeing of vulnerable children. She says they've been innovative in handling abuse cases, assisting in tackling poverty and dealing with dropouts, bullying and attendance issues at schools. Courtesy #DStv403
