Polo G’s “RAPSTAR” peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has over 200 million Spotify plays to date. The song is produced by Einer Bankz and Synco and is set to appear on Polo’s upcoming album Hall Of Fame. Genius recently sat down with the producers to break down how the song was made and how they initially bonded over being from The Bay Area.
“The crazy thing is actually like, this was the first beat we ever made together,“ said Synco. "We just met in a producer room on Clubhouse and he just popped in one day and I was just like, ‘Hey bro, you from The Bay right?’” Einer Bankz chimed in saying, “It must’ve been like 20 people that hit me up after that group. And I looked at bro and I was like, ‘Oh, he’s from The Bay? Okay!’”
