New York's latest park 'Little Island' hovers over the Hudson River

A new park rising out of the Hudson River has started welcoming New Yorkers. Built on top of 132 concrete pots, amidst the remains of Pier 54 and 55 on Manhattan's West Side, the $260 million project aims to provide a green space where New York residents can feel "calmer and happier," according to a landscape architect.
