Rappler Cebu correspondent denied entry to Region 7 police office, accused as 'fake news outlet'

While waiting for the release of Lumad teacher Chad Booc, police allow other media outlets inside the PRO-7 in Camp Sergio Osmeña, Cebu City, except Rappler, calling us a fake news outlet.

Rappler has extensively covered the Lumad arrests, reaching out to police for comments on updates. Non-uniformed police personnel asked Rappler and members of human rights groups to stop filming for police safety purposes.
