All states suffering from Corona, lockdown is last option?

Most of the state governments are opting for lockdown, which was once considered the last option. Every day new restrictions are being imposed. It also includes Uttar Pradesh, where the weekly lockdown has been extended by 2 days. Other governments around the country are trying the option of lockdown.
