Breakdown of Romeo and Juliet Act 4 Scene 3

Nutshell Summary:
- Juliet says goodnight (and silently goodbye) to her mother and the Nurse.
- Alone, Juliet grows fearful:
1) What if the potion doesn’t work and she wakes as usual and must marry Paris?
2) What if Friar Laurence is trying to poison me to save his honour?
3) What if I wake before Romeo arrives and I suffocate in the tomb?
4) What if I go insane in the tomb and kill myself from fright?
- Rather than so, Juliet says she will kill herself with her dagger.
- She drinks the potion and falls asleep.
