President Cyril Ramaphosa has condemned the violence in Chad, which led to the death of President Idriss Deby. His son has now been named interim president. Deby was killed on the frontline on Tuesday, while visiting the Chadian army in the country's north. The 68-year-old had just been re-elected for a sixth term in office.
