Covid-19: Two patients share bed at Delhi’s LNJP hospital

Lok Nayak Hospital of Delhi is running at full capacity as it is overwhelmed with Covid-19 cases. LNJP hospital has over 300 ICU beds but the daily footfall of patients is more than the available beds. According to Medical Director of LNJP Hospital, Suresh Kumar, “The number of Covid-19 cases is rising rapidly. We are running at full capacity. We have more than 300 ICU beds here. Today, we have 158 patient admissions, all these patients had an oxygen saturation of less than 91.” Delhi reported over 16,000 Covid-19 cases on April 16.
