BLASTING A GOLD PAY STREAK: Tools to maximize gold recovery

So there is a lot of power with the 6" gold dredge but sometimes you need to blast away material to loosen it up and capture that GOLD.
We were following a gold paystreak in a gravel bar as water levels began to drop making it tough to process material with the dredge. We also were finding gold in between the bedrock cracks that was too stubborn to come out. The solution? Use a BLASTER NOZZLE on the 6" dredge to wash that material back down into the water or blast the gold out of the bedrock cracks and suction it all up into the dredge.
It gets quite messy but Kathleen was able to blast away with that nozzle and recover some great gold.
