Sonu Sood receives COVID19 vaccine

Actor Sonu Sood received the first dose of COVID19 vaccine at a hospital in Amritsar, Punjab.

Sonu took to Twitter and wrote:

“Got my vaccine today and now it's time to get whole of my country vaccinated. Started the biggest vaccination drive "Sanjeevani" which will bring awareness and get our people vaccinated.  ...”.

The ‘Simmba’ actor urged everyone to get vaccinated against coronavirus at the earliest to keep their families and countrymen safe for a better future.

Sonu Sood is the latest Indian film celebrity to get vaccinated after Malaika Arora, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Mohanlal, Jeetendra, Kamal Haasan, Nagarjuna, Rohit Shetty, Neena Gupta, Rakesh Roshan, and Johnny Lever.

Sonu Sood was last seen onscreen in Telugu action-comedy film ‘Alludu Adhurs’ which released in January 2021. He will next be seen in Yash Raj Films' historical action drama film ‘Prithviraj’ alongside Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chhillar and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on 5th November 2021 coinciding with Diwali.

Sood will also feature in the Telugu film ‘Acharya’ and Tamil film ‘Thamezharasan’.
