Australia: भीषण बाढ़ से हालात खराब, बड़ी संख्या में उभरा मकड़ियों और सांपों का झुंड | वनइंडिया हिंदी

Thousands of snakes and spiders have started invading homes and farms, looking to escape the rising water as Australia continues to be battered by record-breaking floods. Several pictures and videos on the internet show an exodus of animals on the move, in search of high grounds. Rains have continued to inundate the region, since March 18, Thursday, causing flash floods and a major dam to overflow.

ऑस्ट्रेलिया के पूर्वी तट पर जारी भारी बारिश की वजह से हालात बिगड़ते जा रहे हैं. न्यू साउथ वेल्स में बाढ़ में फंसे क़रीब 18,000 लोगों को निकालकर सुरक्षित स्थानों पर पहुंचाया गया है. राज्य की राजधानी सिडनी और दक्षिण-पूर्वी क्वींसलैंड में नदियों और बांधों का जलस्तर बढ़ गया है. अधिकारियों ने कहा है कि '50 साल में पहली बार बनी ये स्थिति' कई हफ़्तों तक बनी रह सकती है. प्रशासन ने लोगों से सावधानी बरतने को कहा है. इन इलाक़ों में ढाई करोड़ ऑस्ट्रेलियाई रहते हैं. बाढ़ की वजह से हर तरफ तबाही फैली है. इंसानों के साथ-साथ जानवर भी अपनी जान बचाने के लिए भाग रहे हैं.
