BCB is likely to reconsider the NOC given to Shakib Al Hasan for the 2021 edition of the IPL. Earlier, Shakib stated that the BCB misinterpreted his letter for prioritising the IPL over playing the Test series against Sri Lanka.Thereafter, Nazmul Hasan Papon, the BCB chief, called an impromptu meeting at his residence. As per the letter, the Magura-born Shakib stated that he picked playing in the IPL in order to prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup in India.
बांग्लादेश क्रिकेट बोर्ड ने सोमवार को कहा कि वह शाकिब अल हसन को इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग में खेलने के लिये अनापत्ति प्रमाणपत्र देने पर पुनर्विचार कर सकता है.शाकिब ने इससे पहले रविवार को दावा किया था कि बीसीबी ने श्रीलंका के खिलाफ टेस्ट श्रृंखला के बजाय आईपीएल को प्राथमिकता देने के उनके फैसले को गलत तरीके से पेश किया. शाकिब-अल-हसन ने एक दिन पहले ही एक बेवसाइट को दिए इंटरव्यू में यह कहा था कि बीसीबी ने उनकी बात को गलत ढंग से मीडिया में पेश किया।
