The passengers of the regular SpiceJet airline coming from Ahmedabad to Jaisalmer came to a halt when the SpiceJet aircraft failed to land on the runway of Jaisalmer Airport due to technical reasons. The pilot tried to land the plane three times but he could not succeed in getting the emergency landing of the aircraft and the aircraft kept circling in the air for about an hour, due to which the passengers got nervous. Some passengers started crying. The aircraft was later flown back to Ahmedabad, making a safe landing there. About two hours later the aircraft was sent to Jaisalmer via another pilot

अहमदाबाद से जैसलमेर आने वाली स्पाइसजेट की नियमित विमान सेवा के यात्रियों की सांसें उस समय थम गईं, जब स्पाइसजेट का विमान तकनीकी कारणों की चलते जैसलमेर हवाई अड्डे के रन वे पर लैंडिंग नहीं कर पाया. पायलट ने विमान को तीन बार लैंडिंग कराने की कोशिश की लेकिन वो विमान को इमरजेंसी लैडिंग कराने में सफल नहीं हो सके औऱ विमान करीब एक घंटे तक हवा में चक्कर काटता रहा,जिसके चलते यात्रियों में घबराहट फैल गई. कुछ यात्री तो रोने लग गए. बाद में विमान को वापस अहमदाबाद ले जाया गया,वहां पर सुरक्षित लैंडिंग की गई. करीब दो घंटे बाद विमान को दूसरे पायलट के जरिए जैसलमेर भेजा गया
