One in 50-year flooding event expected for Penrith area

The NSW Premier says the focus of the emergency is now on north west Sydney and parts of Western Sydney where the Hawkesbury Nepean River is flooding in a once in 50-year event. Multiple evacuation orders are already in place and a further 4000 people could be evacuated in the coming hours.
