Canadian diplomat: 'Hopeful' for immediate release of detained Canadians

As the trial of detained Canadian Michael Spavor is set to start on Friday in China, diplomats wait outside the court doors hoping to get access. Jim Nickel, from the Canadian Embassy in Beijing, tells reporters that they hope the trial leads to Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig's "immediate release".
