विराट कोहली की कप्तानी में इस समय टीम इंडिया बेहतर खेल रही है. अपने घर में टेस्ट सीरिज तो जीती ही है. साथ ही ऑस्ट्रेलिया में भी झंडा गाड़ा. टीम इंडिया की जीत में कोहली की भूमिका अहम रही है. पर युवा खिलाड़ियों ने बेहतर प्रदर्शन किया है. चाहे वो अक्षर पटेल हो, रिषभ पन्त हो या फिर वॉशिंगटन सुंदर हो. मोहम्मद सिराज ने भी जिस तरह ऑस्ट्रेलिया में गेंदबाजी की, वो अविश्वसनीय था. कई बेहतरीन खिलाड़ी हाल के समय में अपने प्रदर्शन से हर किसी का दिल जीता है. इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ टेस्ट सीरिज जीत और विश्व टेस्ट चैंपियनशिप के फाइनल में जगह बनाने के बाद हर कोई कोहली की तारीफ कर रहा है और रवि शास्त्री की भी.


Speaking about Dravid's contribution to the Indian cricket in an interview, the BCCI president hailed the former Indian skipper for doing a great job at the NCA. Ganguly also credited Dravid for taking care of the second-string players. “I always say that Rahul Dravid has done a great job at the NCA (in Bangalore) as he looks after the second string players. Mohammed Siraj, you know I see a lot of talent in him, Shardul Thakur every time they have got opportunities they have just stood up," Ganguly told India Today in an interview.
