Paresh Rawal, the new chairman of the National School of Drama, has insisted on granting NSD the status of an institution of national importance. Actually, in a press conference at NSD, Bollywood and theater actor Paresh Rawal said that being an institute of national importance, NSD will be able to award degrees and be able to start new courses like Playrite, Costume Designing and open new centers. We are in active contact with the Government of India regarding this subject.

नैशनल स्कूल ऑफ ड्रामा के नए चेयरमैन परेश रावल ने एनएसडी को राष्ट्रीय महत्व के संस्थान का दर्जा देने पर जोर दिया है। दरअसल एनएसडी में एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में बॉलिवुड और थिएटर एक्टर परेश रावल ने कहा राष्ट्रीय महत्व के संस्थान होने से एनएसडी डिग्री दे सकेगा और प्लेराइट, कॉस्ट्यूम डिजाइनिंग जैसे नए कोर्स शुरू करने और नए सेंटर को खोलने में सक्षम होगा। इस विषय को लेकर हम भारत सरकार के साथ सक्रिय संपर्क में हैं।
