Actor John Abraham who started his career in the Hindi film industry - Bollywood with "Jism" says that one must do films that relate to a mass audience and not just for a few people sitting in a fancy theatre.
John while interacting with the press at the trailer launch of his upcoming film 'Mumbai Saga' said:
Helmed by Sanjay Gupta, Mumbai Saga is being touted as his "most ambitious film. It stars an incredible ensemble of John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Babbar, Gulshan Grover, Rohit Roy, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Amole Gupte in pivotal roles, is set in the Eighties and the Nineties.
The project is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, Krishan Kumar, Anuradha Gupta, Sangeeta Ahir. The film is set in the 80s and the 90s and shows the changing face of Mumbai.
The film was earlier scheduled to release in June 2020 but the production work was put on hold due to the coronavirus outbreak and nation-wide lockdown, last year. The film is scheduled to release on 19th March 2021.
