पद्मनाभस्वामी मंदिर की प्रशासन समिति ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट को बताया कि मंदिर के रखरखाव पर केरल सरकार की ओर से खर्च किए गए 11 करोड़ रुपये चुका पाने में वह फिलहाल असमर्थ हैं. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने समिति की उस रिपोर्ट को रिकॉर्ड पर लिया है जिसमें कहा गया है कि कोविड संकट के दौरान इस ऐतिहासिक पद्मनाभ स्वामी मंदिर में भी भक्तों का आना-जाना नहीं के बराबर रहा, जिस वजह से मंदिर में ज्यादा दान नहीं आ पाया.
