Lou Grant Season 1, Episode 16: Hero

Lou has Rossi identify and profile a man who foiled an assassination plot against a politician and inadvertently causes trouble for the story's subject. Meanwhile, Billie is dismayed when her well-received article about a women's halfway house in need of donations fails to drum up financial support for it.
