SC to hear Centre's plea against proposed tractor rally

The Supreme Court on Monday will be hearing the Centre’s application seeking an injunction against any kind of farmers’ protest or their proposed tractor rally which seek to disrupt the Republic Day celebrations on January 26. Chief Justice of India Sharad Arvind Bobde will be heading the three-judge bench that will hear the application today along with the Centre’s pleas raising the issue of farmers protesting at Delhi borders.
