Richa Chadha unveiled the anthem song, "Chidi Chidi", from the forthcoming political drama 'Madam Chief Minister'.
The inspirational number is crooned by Swanand Kirkire, music is composed by Mangesh Dhakde and written by Dushyant.
The actress dropped the song on Twitter.
She wrote:
"You’re always only 2 steps away from creating a shift. Ambition and Determination! #MadamChiefMinister’s #ChidiChidi is out now!"
The song chronicles Richa as a brut and aimless fireball finding her real ambition and working from ground level and finally winning the election, and becoming the Chief Minister.
The film also stars Manav Kaul, Akshay Oberoi, Saurabh Shukla, Subhrajyoti Barat, and Nikhil Vijay. The film is written and directed by Subhash Kapoor.
The film is a political thriller. It is also the story of a woman politician’s journey from scratch to become the most powerful person in the state. The film also addresses the issue of casteism in India.
'Madam Chief Minister' is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Naren Kumar, Dimple Kharbanda, Vinod Bhanushali, Shiv Chanana, and Neeraj Kalyan.
