Uddhav Thackeray snubs Congress over Sambhajinagar row

After strong resentment from the Congress over Aurangabad being referred to as Sambhajinagar in the official government statements, Uddhav Thackeray has chosen to completely ignore the ally's anger. Reacting to the Congress's constant objections, Uddhav Thackeray reminded the ally of their common minimum programme. "Aurangzeb was not secular. Our common minimum programme had secular words as an agenda and Aurangazeb doesn't fit into that definition," Uddhav Thackeray said while talking to reporters at his official residence.
