Gary and Pauline continue their Croatian Vacation in Rovinj. Easily our favorite destination of the trip with it's striking scenery, tranquil atmosphere, and TRUFFLES! Also, we got to see dolphins, which is always a plus.

Restaurant Porta Antica...this restaurant is right on the water. We ate there several times and one evening they encouraged us to keep our table all night so we could watch the upcoming fireworks display over the sea. Delicious fresh fish, pasta, and dishes with truffles, impeccable service, owner/host is a delight. Taverna de Amicis...this restaurant is on a side street in the old town. It was a two minute walk from our Rovinj accommodations. The server told us that their pasta is made fresh every morning by "a little old lady" who lives nearby. Delicious fresh fish, pasta, and dishes with truffles, impeccable service. The video where Gary is talking about the lunch that is about to arrive and then we have a video of him "describing" the taste was filmed here.

Apartments & Room Rina...accommodations in a private neighborhood, but still only a 3 minute walk to all the goings on. Friendly and helpful owners, quiet location, clean rooms, cheerfully decorated.
