Vaccines will work against new Covid strain: PSA Vijay

Six people who had recently returned from the UK to India have tested positive with the new coronavirus strain that reportedly spreads at a much faster pace and has sent alarm bells ringing across the world. During a press conference today Principal Scientific Advisor (PSA) to the Government of India Prof K. Vijay Raghavan said, Vaccines will work against the variants detected in UK and South Africa. There is no evidence that current vaccines will fail to protect against these Covid-19 variants. Watch the video for more details.
