Evelyn Benitez-Sorto is an artist who creates diamond paintings, which are a combination of paint by numbers and cross-stitching. Tiny, sparkly resin stones, or "diamonds," are placed on their corresponding symbols on an adhesive-covered canvas with a printed design. The resin diamonds snap onto the surface of the picture to create the finished product.
