An unnamed adventurer arrives in Yucca City with the Indian Girolamo. Mistaken for a doctor, because of a suitcase stolen by the Indian, the adventurer decides to take advantage of the situation by staying in the city. But he soon realizes that the town, and the Logan family in particular, live in terror of Colorado Slim's gang, who does everything to force the inhabitants to give up their lands.
