Taiwan celebrates Christmas with Disney-themed festival to brighten shadows of Covid-19 pandemic

Taiwan’s annual Christmas Land light festival attracted large crowds of people in New Taipei City on December 17, 2020. The celebration featured Disney-themed, three-dimensional mapping projections and light installations. The event was able to go ahead as the self-ruled island has managed to keep its Covid-19 outbreak under control.
