मध्य प्रदेश के चंबल घाटी में बसे मनेपुरा गांव में जहां महिलाएं सैनिटरी पैड का उपयोग करना तो दूर बात करना भी पसंद नहीं करती थी. अब इस गांव की महिलाएं खुद पैड बनाकर स्वावलंबी बन रही हैं. ये बदलाव गांव के दो युवा भाइयों की वजह से हुआ है, जिन्होंने पैडमेन मुरूगनाथम की जीवनी प्रेरणा लेकर न सिर्फ छोटे से गांव में सैनिटरी पैड की इंडस्ट्री खड़ी कर दी, बल्कि जिले और देशभर की महिलाओं को अपने पैरों पर खड़ा करने का काम कर रहे हैं.
