BMC raids night clubs and bars for violation of Covid norms

With Christmas and New Year just round the corner, party scenes have suddenly brightened up across the city. Late night parties in city and suburbs in Mumbai have now become a cause of concern for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). Invitations for parties are being sent through social media groups, and the civic body is aware of it. But what is worrisome is that the party revellers have been flouting social distancing norms, and not wearing masks. The BMC feels that this could lead to an increase in the number of coronavirus cases reported in Mumbai, again.
