HydraFacial Keravive is a scalp-care treatment that's meant to cleanse, stimulate, nourish, and hydrate the scalp for healthier hair. Insider's Caroline Aghajanian visited OrangeTwist in Westlake Village, California, to try the treatment on her scalp. Licensed master esthetician Amanda LaMoure uses the HydraFacial Beta-HD solution with the HydraFacial Vortex Technology to exfoliate any oil, dirt, and debris away to prep the scalp for the peptide solution. Then she infuses a biomimetic peptide complex into the scalp that detects what the scalp is lacking and mimics those cells to deliver what it needs, like hydration or oil control. Each treatment comes with a take-home spray to be used every day for 30 days. Benefits of the treatment include relieving itchiness and inflammation for dry scalps, increased hydration, increased volume, and hair-growth stimulation. Caroline documents her before and after shots with a microscope to see how the treatment has changed her scalp.
